Drinking and Smoking Part-II

After reading my previous post on drinking and smoking I realized that it was missing something. I missed a lot of points related to stress busting and drinking/smoking. But what else would you expect from a 3-post old time pass blogger?...
I think apart from the two ways suggested by me in previous posts i.e. meditation and happy friends’ company there are many other ways in which one can de-stress oneself.
I was writing the previous post half sleeping. So don’t mind the mistakes and typos. But on the whole it was in the right direction and it said 80% of the entire matter. This supplement is for the remaining 20%.
I mentioned to stress busters mentioned above, let us talk about few more effective stress busters,…
Cut down our commitments. We must learn to say NO.
Calm stress with good nutrition.
Rub tension away with a healing massage.
Don’t bear grudges. If something is bothering you, clear the air there and then; be it with your friend or boss.
Find comfort in a crowd. Popcorn at the movies, plays, concerts, magic shows relax and rejuvenate.
Keep comic books by Ur bedside, and enjoy a good laugh before u sleep.
Walk up to someone u love, put Ur arms around them to do the same to u. this is called a hug, and it is the warmest, most soothing feeling in the world.
Music is one of the most effective ones, listening to your favourite songs helps in a great way.
Alcohol and smoking comes no where in the above list although the list is not exhaustive.
