This is how I decided to spend my spare time while waiting for the "not-so-punctual" company representatives and HRs.

Byju and Gaurang paid me well enough to put there pics on this blog, if you are interested in getting your pic on Korner Kafe, then contact any of the authors and bribe them accordingly...!!:P

The newly constructed seminar hall in the pic has no fans and only two micro-windows(not visible in pic); making it the most suffocated place to be in. And still the place is over-crowded. Unemployment really needs some attention.:)

Apart from this the projector is focusing on the wall itself (in fond memory of its screen).

Hi All,
Lets say its a Wake Up call to everyone out here.

I was reading a message sent to me by my very good friend and the creator of this blog which is as-

"By the next 10 months, our Earth will become 4 degree hotter than its now.
Our Himalayan Glaciers are melting at a rapid rate.
So all of you lend your hands to fight global warming:-
-Plant more trees.
-Don't waste water.
-Don't use or burn plastic."

Coincidentally just before this message popped in I was talking to a friend who has started an organization named Green For Sustainable Development along with other batch mates of mine.
Its so good that the people like us are taking this initiative of trying to bring back the better picture of the Earth to all of us.
So I think that we will appreciate their efforts for caring so much, not only about themselves and their studies (like we normal people do), but also for the complete mankind.
I really admire them and just requesting you all to join in hand in the efforts they are making so that our combine effort can make some difference for us and the generations to come.

And now the details about the Green From the GreenForSD itself:-

"GreenForSD provides an opportunity to work as a Volunteer & for this you will get a Certificate from the organization. The job role will generally involve helping the activities of Green to run smoothly and at the same time we will make sure that you learn more and more.

Other way to involve is to join us as a member which involves a membership fees of Rs. 500. This will make you entitle for the benefits such as:

1. Reimbursement for attending external conferences.

2. To contribute and have access to the small library that is in making. This library will be at the office of GreenForSD by the members and for the members. Right now we have about 15 books on different different topics. As Green becomes financially more strong they are about to start some magazines also which the members can refer to.

3. Opportunity to take leadership roles for different projects run under GreenForSD."

All the people in this Kafe I met, have a lot of potential. Some have the right directions and some others are still in the process of searching for the right path. So, its not just about seeing another "NGO" working for the environment but this time its about heading our potential in right direction.

Today when I was returning home this afternoon with dad,(time was about 12noon). I saw that

on the roadside, some people were gathered. Dad stopped the scooter and start guessing what had happened. Just then I saw that in the middle of the crowd there was a girl, of almost my age; lying down on the road. I saw that there was no lady around her so, I immediately got down and helped her. She was not-so-badly injured; soon 108 (ambulance) reached there and she was taken to the hospital.

She was stuck down by two boys on a bike as per told by the people around. The girl was on her scooty, two guys on a speedy bike took a cut from the wrong side, and made the girl fell down from her scooty.

The bike raced off soon after the accident happened.

Thank fully nothing much bad happened..but what if it would have.

I m here writing this blog just to appeal u all guyss n gals who drive daily. plzz..drive slow and safe..its not only for you but for other people also,who are out there on the road.

Those two guys might not have event noticed that their harsh driving almost killed someone. But just think what would have happened to her parents when they were called upon by some stranger and informed that their daughter has met with an accident.

I am not accusing some one or the other for his/her fault I am just appealing to drive safe..coz your one un-intentional mistake can cause an irrevocable loss to someone.

**LATEST COLLEGE NEWS**

1. Total 66 students were shortlisted and 77 selected in the placement events in last three months. (though sm were not worth talking but still a +ve sign from the industry and its future; even IT companis hav started placing. 2. Airtel distributed free sims on the name of a seminar which never took place. (reason: the organizer(s) had swine flu; this is what we were told). 3. A new block was constructed, new lab installed, road to parking ws dug out to be constructed and inaugurated again ....construction work is going on all arnd the campus. (it feels terrible wen u r writing ur xams and the floor above u sounds like crashing anytime...!!) 4. Queues went shorter than earlier, students behaving better than they used to and boys are happy to see sm pretty girls in frst and second yrs of various courses (okay tht ws not my opinion...bt in general.) 5. Sometimes i feel lecturers of our college enjoy their college life more than students. 6. Dr. R.C.Chhipa is the best person to contact when you need help regarding anything on campus. and I am serious when I say that. Honestly, most encouraging person I’ve ever met. 7. Indian Army came again and selected many students on the basis of its GK interview so that they got more hens and cocks to screw at SSB. (yes they took girls as well: unlike previously..!!) 8. Gyan Vihar will be soon launching it’s Centre for Global Warming & Climate Change Research at Mahal Jagatpura Campus, Jaipur. (okay, I copied this one frm the website as it is..and if u didn’t know, our campus has one of the best rain water harvesting systems of city or may be the country I never tried to find out.) 9. Guards and parking ppl have grown more polite than ever..i miss suresh “bhaiya” (the old gatekeeper who didn’t let u go even if u had an official gate pass/ he used to get emotionally blackmailed though at times.).!!.. 10. There is no news of “Banaji”,,,I miss his paties. No where I found that taste. 11. Mother of all news: free tea is being offered to all the students who wait for their turns for interviews during placements, so hostlers..u know what to do for an afternoon tea..!!:P (just reach reception on the right time.) 12. that’s all I can think of right now, if anyone is having any other news he/she is most welcome to add it in this thread. FREE CHAI

Hey friends, seems like we have lost the right of attributing our college with the names like "kanjus", "makkhichus" etc., as they offered free chai(tea) during the event of December, 2nd.

Earlier it seemed they were serving us because they thought we were guests. But they confirmed that it was meant for students only.

In the adjoining pic my friends Girish, Anupam and Devendra are enjoying the tea but they had to take a heavy dose of "Hajmolas" as they couldn't digest this. :D
